Atlas Converting Equipment manufactures a range of standard and bespoke machinery for use in the slitting and rewinding of flexible / plastic materials with a design and manufacturing site in Bedford UK.
As member of the Jagenberg group of companies in Germany with remote offices in USA, India and China, our prime business is the export of capital equipment and service of the installed base.
As market leader in its chosen markets the company operates under two brand names ATLAS and TITAN.


Your tasks

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parts & Service Sales Admin to join our fast paced and rapidly growing customer support team. Reporting to the Parts Manager and working within an existing and highly motivated Parts Sales and Service Support team, this role will offer excellent personal development and growth with fantastic opportunities within the company.


  • Work and build relationships with our global client base and regional partners for all the spare parts needs
  • Provide sales advice to customers by telephone, face-to-face and written Communication
  • Construct written quotations utilizing our ERP system as required, ensuring customers are in receipt of quotations (pre- and post-quote) as well as proactively providing updates to customers where necessary.
  • Recognise sales opportunities and proactively seek new sales opportunities through promotions and special offers.
  • Ensure prices charged to customers are in line with the company's objectives in relation to margin.
  • Work with other team members and service partners on continuous improvement projects


Your profile


  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to interpret customer sales requirements.
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret schematics. 
  • Experience of tender process' and the confidence to read through bills of quantities and tender documents will be an added advantage.
  • Sales negotiation skills and positive can-do attitude.
  • Demonstrate good skills in the use of MS Office in analysing and reporting data from our ERP system.
  • The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate experience in a comparable role selling parts of similar or relatable machinery. 
  • Excellent communication skills – able to communicate with stakeholds across a large Group and Company with varying cultures.
  • Motivated to provide customer service at an elevated level to internal and external customers.
  • Excellent MS Office skills and experience of using an ERP system.
