Data processing

We process your personal data with regard to your person in connection with the implementation of your application procedure as well as to check your potential work-related employability. In this context, we process the information you provide for the purpose of making a well-founded personnel decision on the basis of Section 26 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and Article 6 (1) Sentence 1 I lit. b DSGVO. In addition, evaluations based on objective, non-discriminatory criteria are stored in addition; if this is permissible in individual cases, publicly available personal data about you is also stored in addition.

The data you provide is necessary to carry out the application process. Without this data, we cannot consider your application.

Within the scope of the protected area on our website, you can log in using your personal identification. Each time you log in, logs are created and processed for statistical purposes. The logs contain the following information:

  • Referrer (page from whose link you arrived at this Internet presence)
  • Search terms (for search engines as referrer)
  • IP address 
  • Browser, operating system, installed plug-ins and screen resolution
  • Time spent on the pages.

The aforementioned data is processed by us on the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f DSGVO for the following purposes only:

  • Ensuring a smooth connection setup of the internet presence,
  • Ensuring a comfortable use of our internet presence,
  • evaluation of system security and stability as well as
  • for other administrative purposes.

We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use. The data will be deleted immediately if it is no longer required to achieve the purpose, but at the latest after six months. 
 

Transfer / service provider

Your personal data will be passed on to d.vinci HR-Systems GmbH in order to support us in the personnel selection process. In some cases, external IT service providers may access your data. In all cases, the service providers act in accordance with instructions, which has been ensured by corresponding contracts.

We will only pass on your personal data to other companies in our group of companies if you have given us your consent to do so, in order to provide you with further entry options in our group of companies. 
 

Retention and deletion of data

Your data will be retained for as long as is necessary for the above-mentioned purposes of the personnel selection process. If you object to the data processing during the personnel selection procedure, the data will be deleted - provided that there are no other legal retention obligations to the contrary. 

The data will then be deleted after the end of the application process and after any action periods have expired, unless you have given your consent to save your application for further job offers. Unsolicited applications are stored for a maximum of up to two years or until you revoke your consent and are then deleted.
 

Your rights

We inform you that, pursuant to Article 15 et seq. DSGVO under the conditions defined therein, you have the following rights of the data subject: Right to information about the personal data concerned and to rectification or erasure or to restriction of processing or right to object to processing and right to data portability. You also have the right of complaint to a data protection supervisory authority pursuant to Article 77 DSGVO. If the processing is based on Article 6(1)(a) DSGVO or Article 9(2)(a) DSGVO (consent), you also have the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of consent until withdrawal.
